Some
more about Bromley's history and our our
2021 Successes
Bromley bowling Club is 134 years old. During
previous seasons, the club has played at Windsor Great Park, and hosted teams
from Kent County, the Kent County Past
Presidents, Middleton Cup & Bowls England matches.
We were the
National Champions in 2013 winning "The Tony Allcock"
trophy. History was made as this turned out to be last Bowls England match played at
Worthing. Bowls England then moved its headquarters and the National finals to
Royal Leamington Spa in Warwickshire .
This success was almost repeated at Leamington
in 2021 when were runners-up. However the club did win the Bowls
England mixed fours
and also triumphed in the Bowls England men's Top Club competition.
Four of
our men were in the Kent Team which won the Middleton Cup. Tom
Bishop, Michael Cheeseman, Gary Brock and Chris Smith; Joe Sanford
was reserve,. & Steve Savage, Managed the team to this memorable triumph.
